The south east part of Kho Phangan is the main party area including Haad Rin and the fullmoon party beach. Most of the area surrounding HadRin is mountains making most of the beautiful fine white beachesunaccessable by road, the only way to get to them is by longtail boat from HaadRin. Kohpanganhas unnumbered natural remote beachesand mountains, a few of them only able to reach by a treck through jungle paths or by taking a boat.
The Island offers a lot of popular activitiesone being snorkeling at most of the island bays, one bay in particular is in the northeastern tip in the near of Ko Ma.
Situated near the center of the SamuiArchipelago, Koh Panghan is ideally situated in the near of most popular locations such as Ang Thong National Marine Park and Koh Samui. Nearby Ang Thong archipelago consists of more than 40 tiny islands, fullof natural caves and surrounded by tranquil salt water.
As a natural eden-like island in the Southern Gulf of Siam, Koh Phan Gan serves as the unflawed getaway retreat.
You can use the roads to Had Rin, but we have warned you that the roads are not in the greatest condition and only if consider yourself a good motorcycle rider then do not try to get to Had Rin, as nearly all accidents involving motorcycles happen in this area. Our advice is to leave your motorbike at the seven eleven at BanTai and pay about 50 Baht for a taxi over the hills to Had Rin.
